Abstract

COVID-19 is an infectious disease caused by the newly discovered coronavirus. COVID 19 is caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-COV2). COVID-19 shows long-term effect on multiple systems such as Respiratory, circulatiry, Digestive system, nervous system, etc. Post COVID / long COVID syndrome for people, who have symptoms after 4 weeks -12 weeks of acute infection to up to one year. The most common symptoms reported are fatigue, anorexia, joint pain, dyspnoea, headache, anxiety. Ayurvedic Rasayan (Rejuvenators drugs) deals with enhancing immunity as well as effective in multiple disease condition. Rasayan therapy (Rejuvenating) may be useful in treating post COVID ailments. Here we provide comprehensive review of Ayurvedic Rasayan (Immuno modulatory) formulations for treating Post COVID ailments.
