Abstract: The research highlights the potential of bael fruit in controlling diabetes, supported by its rich array of phytochemicals such as antioxidants and bioactive compounds. The bael fruit powder was made by sun drying and then extract was prepared. Natural herbal ingredients such as turmeric, cinnamon, fenugreek, ginger and orange peel powder were added for additional properties. Phytochemical analysis was performed to identify major components including flavonoids, tannins, and saponins, alkaloids and terpenoids. The herbal tea granules were prepared and evaluated through various tests, including organoleptic properties, solubility, density, and PH determination, ash value determination. The results indicate that bael-based herbal tea granules have significant therapeutic potential, suggesting their usefulness as a natural supplement for diabetic management. This work provides valuable insights into the phytochemical makeup and quality assessment of bael fruit herbal tea formulations, opening avenues for the development of functional foods with health-promoting benefits.
